I grew up on Tide products; it has always been a staple in my family. Today I put liquid Tide to the test by attempting to remove years of stubborn oil stains on my driveway. I have had a car with a major oil leak, left it parked on the driveway for a year before getting rid of it. It left behind an ugly oil slick on the driveway. I was able to remove the slick portion of the stain with commercial driveway cleaners, but it never got rid of the permanent black stain it left behind until I decided to pour some liquid Tide on it. I let it soak in for about 15 minutes, and then rinsed with a high power hose. It miraculously worked. Once the drive way was dry, I could begin to see the blackness disappear. I treated this stain twice this way with positive results. The third time, I used a scrub brush with the Tide to get the last of it clean and I have no black stains anymore. Makes me wish I took before and after pictures. Thank you Tide.

I have used Tide original scented powder for years..It's all I use, and all that is available in HE, but as alot of other users have stated, Tide does not clean as well as it did years ago..and the original scented Tide for HE is not available with bleach either..

I use this for the whole family, but its hard to find now.

With my first child I used dreft but hated how it made his clothes feel and it didn't remove stains, and my husband I both have extremely bad allergies so regular detergent would have us sneezing all day, so now Tide Free is the only detergent that we wash in, it removes all stains and smells from the kids clothes and doesn't make the colors of the clothing look dull.

I have used Tide Free since it first came out - I will use nothing else. I have allergies to perfumes and sensitivity to dyes in detergents. This works great for me and my whole family.

I have a 5 year old top load washer. For the past year I have had a problem with soap scum clinging to the walls of my washer. Although I cleaned the washer regulary it just kept reacurring and I never felt like it was really clean. Last week I used Tide Washing Machine Cleaner. The inside of my washer looks like it is bran new and smells great too! I would highly recomend this product. The only drawback is that althouh its smell is pleasant, it is somewhat overpowering during use and for a few hours after.

I used to have to use either bleach or Affresh monthly in my front loading washer. Now that I'm using Tide Washing Machine Cleaner, I can go longer between cleaning and the fresh smell remains longer. Tide is the only way to go.

I have a HE washer with a clean wash cycle and found that the dispenser detergent drawer that I put the powder (Tide washer cleaner) in rinses out the dispenser before the clean wash cycle. Thus, My Tide washer clean was not effective and I wasted money. They need to get Tide washer cleaner that is good to put into the drum of the HE washer.

Who new that when I got married I would really be married to the washing machine? Because of Tide with Fabreeze that's 1 affair my husband is happy about. Using Tide with Fabreeze makes not only makes everything I wash smell like it was line dried in the fresh air(which we don't have much of in Brentwood- (I live 2 blocks from a White Castle), But it makes doing laundry a BREEZE. Using Tide I never have to worry about my laundry coming out clean but now I even stopped using fabric softener. I don't use my drier for much because I don't believe in frying to a crisp. Using Tide with Fabreeze I can smell the freshness as soon as I open the washing machine. Even my husband noticed when I had clothes drying on hangers he said,"what smells so good, did you get a new candle(only burn fabreeze)?" I told him, "no babe that's the laundry on the hangers in the bathroom." It literally permeates the whole 2800sqft house we have. We love it. I love how Tide cleans my laundry & adding Fabreeze to it makes everything smell better than ever. It was funny when I had asked him if his sweat shirt needed to be washed, he smelled it & said yea it doesn't smell like Fabreeze anymore. I used to have to wait til he wasn't looking or sleeping to wash his favorite sweats, shorts, hat etc. Now he hands them over willingly because they don't have that fabreeze freshness anymore as he puts it. In my opinion Tide made the clothes smell fresh & clean anyway, but by adding Fabreeze to it the product got better. Thank you for saving me time(no more fabric softener) & for making my life easier by not having to cop my husbands favorite things to wash them. Because I don't use the drier & I hang most everything on hangers to dry I am also freshening up my house @ the sametime- everytime I do laundry (which is constantly).Thanks again to Tide & P&G for taking a great product & making it even better. There's somethng to be said for being brand& product loyal. My only complaint is the pricing- it is kind of on the high side. But I guess like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for."Right? As far as cleanliness & freshness I don't have any complaints what so ever. I couldn't ask for a better product.

I love this new product! I used to put OxyClean in each wash, but now I use the Tide Stain Release tablets and the results are incredible! My whites are whiter, my darks are cleaner and still vibrant! I would definitely recommend!!

I used one of the tablets in my laundry and it didn't dissolve the whole way. I found a clump of the white powder at the end of the wash cycle, so I had to do my laundry all over again just to be sure there was no residue on my children's clothing!

I don't normally take the time to review products but i have to tell everyone that this product really works!! I used it on my favorite summer dress that had a stain from last year on it. Obviously after a year the oil stain, probably from cooking, was set in but Tide Stain Release got the stain out and i can now wear my dress anywhere and not just at home. After it worked on this dress, i got adventurous and started using it on other stains that had been a part of our lives for a while and it has removed all of them. They included, grease stains on my husbands work clothes, play stains on my kiddos clothes and even red clay from the rodeo arena. Wow! I'm going to keep this stuff stocked up!
